Vance: Military Action Against Iran Remains an Option for the US
US Vice President J.D. Vance has said that military action against Iran remains an option for the United States. “Additional military action is always one of the options. We can always do it,” Vance said in an interview with CBN News released on Friday. He added that the US would consider such action if Iran does not change its stance. On Sunday, Iran and the US confirmed that the drafting of a memorandum of understanding had been completed. The draft agreement gives Iran and the US 60 days to negotiate a final deal regarding Iran’s nuclear issue and US sanctions. Additionally, the memorandum sets a deadline for the US to lift its naval blockade and for Iran to restore shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
