Van der Horst wins RI contract
SINGAPORE (Reuter): Engineering group Van der Horst said yesterday it had secured a US$75 million contract for a power plant in Semarang, Central Java.
The company said it had received a letter of intent from PT Apac Inti Corpora for the award of the contract to build a 96- megawatt combined cycle power generating plant.
The contract included work for the construction, project management, engineering design and services of the whole project.
VDH said the shareholders of PT Apac Inti Corpora included PT Apac Century Corp which is majority controlled by Johannes Kotjo and Bambang Trihatmodjo. Kotjo and Bambang are also directors and substantial shareholders of VDH.
