PT Vale Indonesia (INCO) recorded a net profit of US$76.1 million throughout 2025. This figure is equivalent to Rp 1.29 trillion, assuming an exchange rate of Rp 16,985 per US dollar. Director and Chief Financial Officer of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, Rizky Putra, stated that Vale Indonesia’s net profit increased by 32 percent year-on-year compared to the same period in the previous year. “This performance reflects consistent operational improvements, stronger production levels, and a disciplined approach to cost efficiency,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (19/3/2026). This result shows positive growth compared to the 71,311 tonnes achieved in 2024. On a quarterly basis, production in the final quarter of 2025 was recorded at 17,052 tonnes, or about 12 percent lower than 19,391 tonnes in the third quarter of 2025. “This was mainly due to the rebuilding activities of Furnace 3, which began in November and are targeted to be completed in May 2026,” he added. Nevertheless, overall production for the year remained higher than the previous year. This outcome reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining operational reliability and managing production efficiently throughout the year. In addition to primary nickel matte production, PT Vale also continued to make progress in expanding its commercial portfolio this year, including through the sale of saprolite nickel ore from the Pomalaa and Bahodopi blocks. Overall, the Bahodopi Block provided the largest contribution to saprolite ore sales throughout the year. Rizky recounted that the first half of 2025 presented several operational challenges for PT Vale, with some disruptions affecting production stability at our operational sites.
