Uya Kuya Officially Inaugurated as Chairman of PAN DKI Jakarta Regional Board

The General Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, officially inaugurated Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Surya Utama, widely known as Uya Kuya, as the Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of PAN for DKI Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period. The inauguration ceremony took place at Balai Sarbini, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, June 2026. In addition to Uya Kuya, Zulkifli Hasan also inaugurated the management board of the PAN DKI Jakarta DPW and all District Leadership Councils (DPD) of PAN across DKI Jakarta. “I, the General Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the National Mandate Party, on this day, Saturday, 27 June 2026, at Balai Sarbini Jakarta, inaugurate and confirm all of you as the management of the PAN DKI Jakarta DPW and the PAN DPDs throughout DKI Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period,” Zulkifli Hasan stated in his address. He offered prayers that all newly inaugurated PAN officials would carry out their mandate well. “With prayers that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala, God Almighty, grants guidance, direction, and His blessings, and provides strength and ease for us to offer our best service to the nation and state,” he added. Deputy General Chairman of PAN, Viva Yoga, explained that Uya Kuya was inaugurated as Chairman of the DPW, replacing Eko Hendro Purnomo, also known as Eko Patrio. Viva Yoga outlined the reasons for Uya Kuya’s appointment, citing his good personal integrity as a party fighter, a high commitment to growing PAN in DKI Jakarta, and a broad social network which is expected to enhance PAN’s electoral value in the capital.
