Utut remains second in Biel

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia's Grand Master (GM) Utut Adianto was
placed second after drawing with GM Rainer Tischbierek of
Germany, whose elo rating is 2,515, at the international chess
tournament in Biel, Switzerland, Sunday evening.

In the five-hour-30-minute match, Utut played black and used
Pirc defense.

"Since the beginning, the match was tight and we finally
agreed to draw on the 51st step," Utut told Antara yesterday.

Russian GM Andrei Kharlov remains in the top position with an
elo rating of 2565. (yan)
