UT Invites 114 Companies to Support Practical Learning and Alumni Careers
Universitas Terbuk (UT) is opening opportunities for collaboration with 114 companies to support practice-based learning, applied research, and the career development of its alumni. This move expands UT’s relationship with goods and services providers who are currently involved in procurement needs.
UT Rector Ali Muktiyanto stated that corporate experience and expertise can be aligned with student requirements. These opportunities were discussed during the UT Vendor Gathering 2026 held at the UT Campus in South Tangerang on Monday (28/09/2026).
“This is also for talent and alumni career development, applied research, and innovation, which ultimately provides real benefits for students as the core part of the UT educational ecosystem,” said Ali.
According to him, relationships with providers have the potential to evolve into long-term cooperation. “For UT, the relationship with providers is not merely viewed as a process of fulfilling goods and services needs, but as a long-term partnership that emphasises performance, professionalism, and measurable governance,” Ali added. The participating companies represent sectors including information technology, telecommunications, publishing and printing, logistics, consultancy, construction, and hospitality.
Regarding procurement, UT is currently developing the ProMise V2 application. This application is designed to integrate planning, provider management, selection, contracting, performance evaluation, and data analysis.
The forum also discussed business development and access to financing for providers. To this end, UT is collaborating with Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), including discussions regarding financing opportunities related to supply chain requirements.
