Using International Standards, Tracon Industri Records 23 Million Hours of Operations Without Workplace Accidents

PT Tracon Industri has reaffirmed its commitment to occupational health, safety, and the environment (HSE). This is evidenced by the achievement of more than 23 million safe manhours without workplace accidents resulting in lost time (Zero Lost Time Injury/LTI), as well as zero environmental incidents (Zero Environment Case).

This achievement represents the accumulated HSE performance from 2010 to 31 March 2026, with a total of 23,045,511 safe working hours involving more than 109,580 workers across various company projects. To date, there are approximately 30 active projects with diverse risk levels, ranging from low risk to medium risk and high risk, all executed in accordance with safety standards.

The President Director of PT Tracon Industri, Muhammad Badri Halim, emphasised that this achievement is not merely a statistical figure but the result of a safety culture that has become the company’s DNA.

“This is about the lives of workers returning home to their families. It is concrete proof that occupational safety is a foundation, not an obstacle to productivity. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance strict HSE standards across all operational lines as part of sustainable business performance,” said Badri, quoted from his statement on Friday, 24 April 2026.

He stressed that the safe working hours achievement reflects PT Tracon Industri’s consistency in implementing an integrated HSE management system across all operational lines, both at the head office and in the field. Various programmes to enhance HSE culture awareness are continuously conducted, from training and socialisation to ongoing HSE campaigns.

The company has organised competency development programmes for occupational safety, such as induction activities, Emergency Response Team training, Basic Life Support, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and various K3 certifications according to job risks, referring to national and international standards. In addition, HSE campaigns are carried out through HSE Golden Rules, HSE Handbook, Safety Moment, periodic publications such as HSE News and HSE Posters, as well as HSE signs and banners placed according to the needs of work areas.

As a form of compliance with applicable HSE regulations and standards, PT Tracon Industri has obtained various certifications, including SMK3 Certification (PP 50/2012), ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System.
