Monitoring and surveillance of the ETLE Drone Patrol Presisi were conducted in the Lampu Merah Pasar Petarukan area, Pemalang, Central Java, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, at 10:00 WIB. The deployment of ANPR technology on the ETLE Drone of the Korlantas Polri is a breakthrough in enhancing traffic surveillance effectiveness, particularly against three-axle goods vehicles that breach operational restrictions.

The system enables the ETLE Drone to identify vehicles quickly and accurately without the need to halt them on the ground. In addition to monitoring traffic flow, the technology can electronically and in real time detect various traffic violations, including three-axle vehicles continuing to operate beyond the established limits.

In his address, Kakorlantas Polri Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho stressed that the use of the ETLE Drone with ANPR technology is part of Polri’s digital transformation to deliver a precise, modern traffic law enforcement system based on information technology.

Meanwhile, Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Faizal said that the ETLE Drone’s ability to automatically read vehicle registration numbers will further facilitate enforcement actions against traffic violations, particularly three-axle goods vehicles contravening operational restrictions on main routes.

The monitoring activity of the ETLE Drone Patrol Presisi was also overseen by Ipda Muhammad Rafli Triananda Nasri, the Officer in Charge of the ETLE Drone Patrol Presisi.

With the support of ANPR technology, the ETLE Drone Patrol Presisi is expected to boost public compliance with traffic rules and strengthen the electronic law enforcement system that is transparent, accountable, and efficient.

The Korlantas Polri Traffic Corps urges the public to comply with traffic provisions to create safer, more orderly, and smoother road transport.
