Used Hyundai Ioniq 5 Seized by the State Auctioned for Rp 152 Million
JAKARTA — The Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Attorney General’s Office held BPA Fair 2026 from 18-21 May 2026 at the BPA Office of the Attorney General, South Jakarta. In the event, 308 assets were auctioned across 245 lots, ranging from properties to electronics and vehicles. The car was auctioned with a reserve price of Rp 152.7 million and a deposit of Rp 75 million. The price is attractive, given the vehicle’s age of around three years. Unfortunately, the auction list did not detail the type or variant of the Ioniq 5 offered. According to Kompas.com records, Hyundai Ioniq 5 prices in Indonesia in 2023 ranged from Rp 684.2 million to Rp 895 million, depending on type and variant. For the Prime Standard Range variant, in October 2023 it was priced at Rp 684.2 million, up from Rp 673.2 million. Compared with its new price at the time, the reserve price of Rp 153 million means a drop of about Rp 531.2 million versus the 2023 Prime Standard Range. In other words, the auction price was only about 22.3 percent of its new price, a decline of almost 77.7 percent. According to the BPA Fair tracking site, the car has been sold but the official auction price was not disclosed. It only shows ownership documents without BPKB and STNK.
