US Military Destroy Two IRGC vessels in Bandar Abbas, Reports Say

The US military has reportedly destroyed two vessels belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a surface-to-air missile system in Bandar Abbas, Iran, according to Fox News citing sources on Tuesday. A senior US official stated that the Iranian vessels were observed laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, Fox News journalist Jennifer Griffin said on X. The US military also targeted the missile system in Bandar Abbas using fighter jets, she added. The incident is described as defensive and does not signal the end of the ceasefire with Iran, the outlet reported. Reuters previously reported explosions in Bandar Abbas.
