US Military Attacks Iran After Trump Offers Ceasefire
The United States Central Command announced an operation targeting the military infrastructure of the Iranian regime. The US assesses that this infrastructure threatens its forces and allies in the region.

In the shared video, the attack is seen targeting an Iranian infrastructure centre. An explosion immediately occurs, with flames shooting high.
The Israeli military also stated that its air force had struck several Iranian weapons production sites in Tehran overnight.
The military statement, published on Telegram, claims that the targeted facilities were used by Iran to produce various air and sea weapons, including those destined for Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and other proxy groups across the Middle East.
“In parallel, defence sites were also attacked, including anti-aircraft missile launch positions and additional sites containing the regime’s air defence systems,” the statement said.
US Offers 15-Point Ceasefire Plan to Iran
Information about the ceasefire offer was first revealed by the leading US media outlet, The New York Times (NYT), citing two Washington officials familiar with the outline of the US proposal in its latest report.
The NYT report states that the US’s 15-point ceasefire offer has been conveyed to Iranian officials via Pakistan. Islamabad itself has offered to host renewed negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
The contents of the 15-point ceasefire plan have not yet been disclosed in detail to the public.
An Israeli television report from Channel 12, citing three sources, mentions that the US is seeking a one-month ceasefire to discuss the 15-point plan.
Israeli media reports also state that the US ceasefire plan includes dismantling Iran’s nuclear programme, halting support for proxy groups, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
