US Military Aircraft Takes Off from Israel Amid Negotiation Issues
Washington (ANTARA) - A US Army priority transport aircraft of the Cessna UC-35A Citation Ultra type reportedly took off from Tel Aviv amid reports regarding negotiations between the US and Iran in Pakistan, according to flight data monitored by RIA Novosti on Friday. The Wall Street Journal reported, citing several sources, that an Iranian delegation arrived in Pakistan on Thursday (9/4) to hold talks related to resolving the conflict with the US. Meanwhile, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran will only negotiate if Israel stops its attacks on Lebanon. Based on available data, the Cessna UC-35A Citation Ultra aircraft is currently in Saudi Arabian airspace and heading towards the Arabian Gulf. Furthermore, on Tuesday (7/4), US President Donald Trump stated that he had agreed to a two-week bilateral ceasefire with Iran and assured that Iran also agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council then stated that Tehran would begin talks with the US on Friday (10/4) in Islamabad, Pakistan.
