The United States claims that its combined military operations with Israel against Iran have drastically reduced Tehran’s capacity to launch missiles and drones.

Despite this, experts warn that Tehran still possesses sufficient capability to deliver deadly blows to its adversaries.

The White House on Saturday (14 March 2026) claimed that Iran’s ballistic missile capacity has been functionally destroyed and its navy is no longer effective in combat. “Operation Epic Fury has yielded massive results,” the statement read, referring to the military operation that began on 28 February.

Al Jazeera reported that the number of missiles and drones fired by Iran at Gulf states and Israel has indeed shown a decline. On the first day of the conflict, Iran launched 167 missiles and 541 drones at the United Arab Emirates. By day 15, only four missiles and six drones were fired.

Meanwhile, Iranian missile attacks against Israel reportedly dropped from nearly 100 projectiles per day to single digits in recent days. According to the Pentagon, missile launches have fallen by up to 90 per cent, whilst drone attacks have decreased by 86 per cent compared to the first day of fighting.
