US-Iran Tensions: Germany Warns its Citizens in the Middle East
Moscow (ANTARA) - Germany’s Foreign Ministry has warned its citizens in the Middle East about the possibility of increased tensions between the United States and Iran, according to the Focus magazine, citing a statement from the ministry.
The report on Wednesday (25/2) stated that German citizens in Israel should not leave their homes if the airspace is closed due to Iranian attacks.
The ministry noted that if the airspace is closed, the Iranian embassy will not be able to fully provide assistance to German citizens.
The German embassy in Tel Aviv recommends that German citizens in Israel download a mobile application that warns of the danger of missile attacks.
Amid the increasing security situation in the region, German citizens are advised to stock up on supplies and find out the location of shelters, according to the report.
In addition, the German embassy in Beirut warned of possible flight restrictions and urged German citizens in Lebanon to take anticipatory measures when travelling.
