US Attack Hits Wedding Ceremony in Iran, Four Dead

Tehran (ANTARA) - The number of fatalities resulting from a US attack that struck a wedding ceremony in Iran has increased to four, according to local media on Tuesday (1/9).

Previous media reports indicated that two people had died in the incident.

The Mehr news agency reported that the death toll has now risen to four, while 50 others were injured due to US attacks in various regions across Iran.

An Iranian Ministry of Health spokesperson, Hossein Kermanpour, also stated on Tuesday that at least 50 people were injured by the US strikes in Iran.

“A number of citizens, including one child, died in Kuhestak village (the location where the wedding ceremony was targeted by the US attack). Up to 50 citizens have sustained injuries,” Kermanpour said on the X platform.
