US and Iran Sign Peace Memorandum of Understanding

Iran stated on Thursday (18/6) that a 14-point Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States aimed at ending the war has been officially completed after the presidents of both countries signed the agreement document. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that the United States’ commitment regarding the lifting of its naval blockade has effectively begun to be implemented following urgent talks after Israeli attacks on the southern outskirts of Beirut and threats of retaliation from Iran.
