[size:14pt]US among top-three investors in Indonesia[/size

The US is the third top country to make investments in Indonesia, a top official says.

The Investment Coordinating Board head Gita Wirjawan said Wednesday the realization of the US’ investment reached US$330 million with 33 projects in the second quarter of this year.

“With the global crisis, we did not have high hopes [in US investors]. But in fact, the US still lays trust in our investment sector, which can be some kind of recommendation to investors from other countries,” he added as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Gita said that he was confident in attracting more investment into the country from South Korea and Japan.
