Muhammad Adimaja hopes the photographic works displayed in his ‘Ursyalim’ photo exhibition and book can portray life in Al-Quds to the Indonesian public.

At the ‘Diskusi Taman Langit ANTARA’ event at the ANTARA Heritage Center in Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, on Friday, 29 May, he explained that ‘Ursyalim’ is a visual record of his reporting trip to Jerusalem in February 2026.

He stated that Ursyalim is a Canaanite term meaning ‘land of peace’.

Around 100 photographs in ‘Ursyalim’ depict spiritual activities and social interactions within Jerusalem, a holy city for Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

“Years of conflict spanning centuries have shaped the long history of this city also known as Al-Quds,” said Muhammad Adimaja.

The ‘Ursyalim’ photo exhibition was held at the ANTARA Heritage Center from 22 to 29 May 2026.
