Upon Arrival in Magelang, President Gives Directives to DPRD Chairmen Across Indonesia

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Magelang, Central Java, on Saturday to deliver directives to the chairmen of DPRD at the provincial and regency/city levels. Monitored via an online broadcast from Jakarta, President Prabowo arrived around 10:00 WIB to give directives in the “Leadership Enhancement Course for DPRD Chairmen Across Indonesia,” accompanied by several ministers and agency heads who will also deliver materials in the event. The President was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Government Affairs Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia. Additionally, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Housing and Settlement Maruarar Sirait, Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, and several other ministers and agency heads. President Prabowo’s directives to the DPRD chairmen were conducted in a closed session. Governor of the National Defence Leadership Academy (Lemhannas) RI TB Ace Hasan Syadzily, in his remarks, explained that the enhancement course was attended by 503 DPRD chairmen from across Indonesia to provide understanding and ensure they oversee the implementation of Astacita at the local level. He explained that the retreat materials, among others, cover the four national consensuses and the global geopolitical dynamics faced by Indonesia. These materials are expected to add a more comprehensive perspective for regional leaders in carrying out their duties.
