Update on the Grade 6 TKA Simulation March 2026: 98% of Schools Ready for Online Delivery
The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) is conducting the Grade 6 TKA (Tes Kemampuan Akademik) 2026 simulation, scheduled to run from 2 to 8 March 2026. This phase is crucial for Year 6 students to adapt to the new assessment format that will be used in later education-level transitions.
As of Friday 6 March 2026, data from the Education Assessment Centre show that the majority of schools across Indonesia are ready to administer the TKA independently. Of 172,274 educational units, 169,279 schools or about 98.26 percent have chosen online delivery.
This step marks a significant advancement in the digitalisation of education, with regional schools now more confident in internet connection stability and the availability of computers for pupils.

The material to be tested in this simulation includes:
With thorough preparation during this simulation period, it is hoped that technical difficulties can be minimised so that students can focus fully on mastering the material for the main examination in April.
