JAKARTA - As many as 2.9 million vehicles have returned to entering Jakarta up to Sunday (29/3/2026). This figure equates to 86 percent of the total projected vehicles returning after the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming.
The President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Rivan A. Purwantono, stated that his company is still calculating traffic up to 06:00 WIB. Nevertheless, the average volume per capacity ratio (VC Ratio) on several main Trans-Java toll road segments is monitored as being under control.
“The VC Ratio on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road is recorded at 0.3, Palikanci Toll Road at 0.28, Cipali Toll Road at 0.22, and Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at 0.36. Based on these parameters, the return traffic flow has been observed to ease from KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 70 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta,” said Rivan on Monday (30/3/2026).
“Until tonight, the contraflow and local one-way schemes are still in effect. Subsequently, we continue to monitor based on evaluations and VC Ratio. Currently, traffic conditions are under control,” said Agus.
