JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Diesel fuel prices at several fuel stations have experienced a significant surge in May 2026. Almost all fuel station operators in Indonesia have now adjusted their diesel fuel prices. From Pertamina, BP Indonesia, Vivo Energy Indonesia, to the most recent Shell Indonesia, they have collectively raised the prices of their non-subsidised diesel products. This increase directly affects the operational costs of diesel-engine vehicles, particularly for SUV users, commercial vehicles, and logistics transportation. Meanwhile, BP lowered its diesel fuel price on 8 May to Rp 29,890 per litre, from the previous Rp 30,890 per litre.
