Of that total, Lakhsmita detailed that 23 patients are still hospitalised, while the remaining 723 patients have been discharged for outpatient care.

“Currently, the latest data shows that 23 people are still hospitalised. Meanwhile, 7ly3 patients are now under outpatient care,” she added.

As previously reported, hundreds of students from the Manbaul Hikam Islamic Boarding School and pupils from 19 schools in the Kalitengah area, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency, are suspected of mass food poisoning after consuming the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG).

They experienced symptoms including nausea, vomiting, and dizziness after consuming the MBG menu produced by the Kalitengah Tanggulangin Nutritional Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG), which consisted of white rice, scrambled eggs, tempeh in Balinese seasoning, sautéed green beans and baby corn, and apples, on Tuesday (1/9) afternoon.
