UNY Admits 2,497 Students Through SNBT; Registration Details Outlined

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has admitted 2,497 new students through the National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) process. The following are the registration requirements.

Prof. Eduart Wolok, Chairman of the SNPMB 2026 Task Force, stated that there were 871,496 applicants for SNBT 2026, including 372 persons with disabilities. “Among the successful candidates, 69 persons with disabilities were admitted, comprising 28 visually impaired, 22 physically disabled, 17 hearing impaired, and 2 speech-impaired candidates,” he said.

Registration Requirements:

UNY Admissions Head Dr. Bambang Saptono said SNBT applicants must complete socio-economic data forms to determine the Single Tuition Fee (UKT). This can be done at http://registrasi.uny.ac.id/ukt, using the SNBT registration number as the username and date of birth as the password between 26 May and 10 June 2026.

“If the form is not completed by this date, the highest UKT rate will apply,” he stressed. Verification results and UKT amounts will be announced on 15 June 2026 on the same website.

Non-KIP-Kuliah applicants must pay the UKT, health and narcotics screening fees, and physical fitness attire costs between 15 and 29 June 2026 via the virtual account provided on the registration site. KIP-Kuliah applicants only need to pay the health and narcotics screening fees and physical fitness attire costs during the same period using the virtual account from the registration site.

UKT payments are processed after the Centre for Higher Education Financing and Assessment (PPAPT) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) confirms KIP-Kuliah recipients.

Bambang also noted that UNY will open a separate admission process (Seleksi Mandiri) for undergraduate and diploma programs. Details are available at https://pmb.uny.ac.id. This year, UNY is also launching the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) until 3 July 2026.
