The Work From Anywhere (WFA) policy remains in effect after the 2026 Eid holidays. WFA will last for three days for ASN/PNS as well as private sector employees.

According to the applicable circular, post-Eid WFA begins today, Wednesday, 25 March, until Friday, 27 March 2026, or a total of three days. Here are the details.

Schedule for Post-Eid 2026 WFA for ASN

Sourced from the Circular of the Minister of PANRB No. 2/2026 on Adjustments to the Implementation of Official Duties for ASN Employees in Government Agencies during the Period of National Holidays and Collective Leave for Nyepi Holy Day and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, post-Eid 2026 WFA for ASN will take place on:

  • Wednesday, 25 March 2026

  • Thursday, 26 March 2026

  • Friday, 27 March 2026

Schedule for Post-Eid 2026 WFA for Private Sector Employees

Quoting from the Circular of the Minister of Manpower Number M/2/HK.04/II/2026 on the Implementation of Work From Anywhere for Workers/Labourers in Companies during the Nyepi Holy Day and Eid al-Fitr Holidays in 2026, post-Eid 2026 WFA for private sector employees will be conducted on:

  • Wednesday, 25 March 2026

  • Thursday, 26 March 2026

  • Friday, 27 March 2026

WFA is Not a Holiday

It should be noted that this post-Eid WFA policy is not counted as a holiday. ASN and private sector employees must still work in accordance with their agency’s or company’s policies.

Quoting from the official PANRB Ministry website, the regulation on 2026 Eid WFA for ASN is not intended as an addition to holiday days, but rather as an arrangement for work flexibility to maintain the continuity of government administration and public services during the national holiday and collective leave period.

For private sector employees, quoting from the official Manpower Ministry (Kemnaker) website, workers/labourers implementing WFA must still carry out work in accordance with their duties and obligations. 2026 Eid WFA for the private sector is not counted as annual leave.

“Workers/labourers implementing WFA must still carry out their work in accordance with their duties and obligations, and therefore the implementation of WFA is not counted as annual leave,” stated the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli.

The same is conveyed in the Circular of the Minister of Manpower Number M/2/HK.04/II/2026 on the Implementation of Work From Anywhere for Workers/Labourers in Companies during the Nyepi Holy Day and Eid al-Fitr Holidays in 2026. Here is the explanation.

  1. WFA is not counted as annual leave.

  2. Workers/labourers implementing WFA must still carry out work in accordance with their duties and obligations.
