Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri) in Palembang, South Sumatra, has announced the acceptance of 3,899 new students through the 2026 National Test-Based Selection (SNBT), including 1,237 KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients. Rector Professor Taufiq Marwa stated on Monday that all results were published on Unsri’s official website, urging unsuccessful candidates to apply through the independent admission route. He added that successful SNBT applicants must register online and verify their Single Tuition Fee (UKT) within the week. The admitted students are spread across 61 diploma three (D3) and bachelor’s (S1) programmes, with the most competitive being dental medicine, mining engineering, psychology, pharmacy, and computer engineering. Unsri offers three admission pathways: SNBP, SNBT, and independent. The SNBP 2026 process has already concluded with 2,294 acceptances, while the independent route has a quota of 3,436 D3 and S1 places. Applications for the independent admission will be accepted from 26 May to 1 July 2026, with exams scheduled for 2-5 July.
