Unpatti partners with YAIJ to open student exchange opportunities in Europe

Ambon (ANTARA) - Universitas Pattimura (Unpatti) has partnered with the YAIJ (Your Access International Journey) Foundation to open opportunities for student exchanges, vocational programmes, and international career development in Europe, particularly Germany.

Deputy Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems at Unpatti, Ruslan HS Tawari, stated on Tuesday in Ambon that the collaboration forms part of the university’s efforts to expand human resource development through international networks. ’ programmes like this provide not only experience but also direction and a way of thinking for how to build the future,’ he said.

He explained that the partnership with YAIJ Foundation, also known as Yayasan Aupair Indonesia Jerman, offers new opportunities for students and graduates to develop their capabilities through vocational education, industry training, and international experience. He emphasised that students must approach these opportunities with full commitment and responsibility, as not everyone has access to international programmes.

’ Unpatti students are encouraged to utilise this opportunity to enhance their competencies, broaden their perspectives, and strengthen their international experience,’ he added.

Yulia Rumpeniak, head of YAIJ PT Ambon Branch and YAIJ Foundation representative, said the programme aims to give Unpatti students and graduates access to career and vocational education opportunities in Europe. She noted that the German government currently requires productive young talent from various countries due to increasing demand for workforce in industry and services sectors.

’ We are here to introduce to Unpatti students and alumni that there are opportunities to build a career and gain international experience abroad, particularly in Germany,’ she said.Through YAIJ Foundation and YAIJ PT, they provide international career guidance, including Ausbildung vocational programmes in Germany and cultural exchange programmes to the United States and Belgium.

To support participants, YAIJ Foundation also offers up to 70% financial subsidies for students and graduates enrolling in programmes. ’ We hope this opportunity can be well utilised by Unpatti students and alumni to build a better future,’ she said.
