Unpar to commemorate 50th anniversary

To celebrate its 50 anniversary, the Bandung's Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar) will organize several activities from Jan. 15 to Jan. 17.

To thank God for their successful 50 years, the university's officials and students will hold a mass on Jan. 15 at the university campus. There will also be scientific activities, such as seminars, book launches and scientific speeches.

The anniversary's committee also invites alumni to join a golf tournament aimed at strengthening friendships among them and to raise funds for supporting the university's activities.

The university's popular student choir, which has frequently won choir contests in the country, will hold a concert and an opera to celebrate the anniversary.
