UNPAM Eyes UNM's Informatics Doctoral Programme, Academic Collaboration Officially Explored
Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), known as a Digital Business Campus, continues to expand its academic network and strengthen inter-university collaboration. This commitment was demonstrated through an academic visit by Universitas Pamulang (UNPAM) to UNM’s Margonda Campus in Depok on Wednesday (10/6), to discuss the implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi cooperation, specifically regarding the Doctoral Programme (S3) in Informatics.
The meeting served as a strategic step to enhance synergy between the two institutions, aiming to improve human resource quality, broaden research collaboration, and support the competency development of lecturers at the doctoral level. The event was attended by UNM Rector Dwiza Riana and her leadership team, while UNPAM was represented by Vice Rector II M. Wildan and the human resource development team.
Both universities discussed various opportunities for implementing cooperation through UNM’s Informatics Doctoral Programme. Discussions covered the mechanism for new student admissions, dissertation supervision and examination systems, support for reputable international scientific publications, and opportunities for collaborative research involving lecturers and professors from both institutions.
Rector Dwiza Riana emphasised that inter-university collaboration plays a vital role in strengthening the quality of higher education and enhancing the academic capacity of lecturers. “Universitas Nusa Mandiri is committed to supporting the improvement of human resource quality through excellent, research-based doctoral education. We welcome the opportunity for cooperation with Universitas Pamulang as part of a joint effort to produce academics, researchers, and innovators capable of making real contributions to the advancement of science and national development,” she stated in a release received on Sunday (14/6/2026).
During the occasion, UNM also presented the various advantages of its Informatics Doctoral Programme, designed to meet the needs of the digital transformation era. Academic facilities, lecture flexibility, support for international publications, and opportunities to participate in global collaboration programmes through sandwich schemes were highlighted as added value offered to prospective doctoral students.
Meanwhile, M. Wildan, Vice Rector II of Universitas Pamulang, expressed his institution’s interest in encouraging its best lecturers to pursue doctoral studies as part of a strategy to enhance academic quality and strengthen research capacity. Beyond further study development, both institutions also discussed broader collaboration opportunities in research, scientific publications, community service, and technology-based innovation.
As a follow-up to the meeting, the two universities agreed to prepare a formal cooperation document that will serve as the foundation for implementing various collaborative programmes in the future. Through this synergy, UNM, as a Digital Business Campus, reaffirmed its commitment to building a collaborative, innovative, and globally oriented higher education ecosystem. The strategic partnership with various educational institutions is expected to produce outstanding human resources ready to face the challenges of the digital era and contribute meaningfully to national progress.
