Unpad and ride-hailing drivers agree on campus access in Jatinangor via Gate D
Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) and online-based transport drivers operating in the Jatinangor Campus have agreed on regulations for entering and exiting the campus area through Gate D.
Sumedang (ANTARA) - Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) together with online-based transport drivers (ojol) operating in the Jatinangor Campus have agreed on access arrangements for entering and exiting the campus area through Gate D.
Unpad’s Director of Asset and Infrastructure Management, Edward Henry, in Sumedang, West Java, on Wednesday, stated that the provision allowing access to the campus area via Gate D has been outlined in a joint agreement between the two parties.
“There is now a joint agreement. Online motorcycle and taxi drivers can now access the campus area through Gate D or Tugu Makalangan,” he said.
Meanwhile, for exiting, the drivers are required to use Gate C, which is located near Bale Wilasa 1.
Edward stated that the drivers must comply with traffic signs and internal campus rules, as well as maintain order, safety, and comfort in the campus environment.
He also added that the agreement will be evaluated within a three-month period since signing, and if during implementation it is deemed ineffective or not conducive, the campus side may review the policy at any time.
“This agreement will be evaluated after three months. If it turns out to cause disorder in the campus area, the agreement will be reviewed and adjusted again,” said Edward Henry.
