UNOX Invests Rp 30 Billion to Build Experience Centre in Indonesia
UNOX has officially launched the UNOX Experience Centre Indonesia. The presence of this facility marks a significant milestone in the company’s long-term investment in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic culinary markets.
Built on a 1,004-square-metre plot of land, this centre is the third largest UNOX Experience Centre in the world, after those in Italy and the United States.
In response to the dynamics of industry growth, UNOX has invested Rp 30 billion in building the Experience Centre in Indonesia. This investment reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting the development of the national culinary industry.
Jang Luk, General Manager of UNOX Indonesia, stated that in recent years, Indonesia’s food service and hospitality sector has shown significant growth. The expansion of restaurants, hotels, bakeries, and large-scale catering services has driven the need for efficient and reliable kitchen technology.
“This country is not only a rapidly developing market but also a hub of culinary creativity. By bringing one of our largest Experience Centres here, it demonstrates our commitment to supporting chefs and hospitality business operators as they continue to grow and innovate,” said Jang Luk in an official statement on Wednesday (8/4/2026).
The Experience Centre is equipped with a fully operational professional kitchen that replicates real culinary working conditions. Here, visitors can participate in live cooking demonstrations, individual cooking experiences, and private consultations with UNOX’s corporate chefs.
The facility is also available to customers for their own research and development (R&D) activities, allowing them to test menus, refine recipes, and develop new culinary concepts using UNOX technology.
“Indonesia is playing an increasingly influential role in Southeast Asia’s culinary landscape. By establishing an Experience Centre in this country, UNOX is strengthening its regional presence while creating a hub that can support professionals across the region,” said Vikram Goel, Regional Director for India and Southeast Asia.
Amid the current complex global geopolitical dynamics, UNOX will continue to invest in strong local teams and remain close to customers worldwide to ensure sustainability, reliability, and the highest service standards wherever they operate.
“We are confident that Indonesia will play a key role in strengthening our presence in Southeast Asia, bringing us closer to customers and supporting their ambitions through cutting-edge technology and innovation,” said Nicola, CEO of UNOX.
