Unocal steps up exploration
EL SEGUNDO, California (Dow Jones): Unocal Corp replaced 101
percent of its crude oil and natural gas production in 1998 with
new proved reserves.
In a press release Monday, the company said it replaced the
production through exploration in the Gulf of Mexico and
Indonesia.
Unocal's international operations replaced 114 percent of
production in 1998 through exploration drilling.
