UNM’s Margonda Information Systems Programme Aims to Develop Future Digital Talent
DEPOK — Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) has introduced an undergraduate Information Systems programme at its Margonda campus, at 545 Jl Margonda Raya, Pondok Cina, Beji, Depok, to develop digital talent able to adapt to technological change. The move responds to strong industry demand for workers skilled in programming, data processing and business strategy.
UNM, which describes itself as a Digital Business Campus, designed the programme to connect information technology with modern business management. Students will develop three core areas of expertise: information technology, data analysis and digital business management, through an integrated curriculum and modern laboratories.
Andry Maulana, head of UNM’s Margonda campus, said industry competition now required graduates to have both technical understanding and practical skills. “We designed the undergraduate Information Systems curriculum so students are not only equipped with theory, but are also able to solve real business problems in the field,” he said in a statement received on Sunday (25 October 2026).
He said that, with practical portfolios built during their studies, graduates were expected to be ready to compete and serve as key drivers of digital transformation in industry. “To make registration more accessible, UNM offers online applications through the MyNusa PMB app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. For this admissions period, UNM is also offering a waiver of the entrance fee, monthly instalment plans and the Invitation Route Scholarship (BJU) for high-achieving prospective students,” he said.
Through accessible admissions and a curriculum based on applied technology, UNM said it was committed to making higher education inclusive and affordable. The initiative forms part of the university’s efforts to help young people turn their potential into tangible achievement in the digital era.
