The DISABI Smart Accessibility team from Nusa Mandiri University (UNM) completed the Progress Assessment of Implementation and Reporting (PKP2) for the 2026 Student Creativity Programme - Constructive Video Ideas (PKM-VGK) on Wednesday (16/09/2026).

During this national evaluation stage, the student team from the Digital Business Campus presented the progress of their programme and the prototype of the Smart Accessibility innovation. This innovation is specifically designed to improve the accessibility of public transport modes for the general public.

Concept development continues through intensive communication with various relevant parties to gather feedback. This step was taken to ensure that the proposed technological ideas do not remain merely as concepts but are ready for implementation.

The Leader of the UNM DISABI Team, Muhammad Rizky Pradiente, stated that the PKP2 evaluation session provided many valuable notes for programme development. His team is committed to using the evaluation results as a stepping stone towards the next competition stages.

“PKP2 serves as a momentum for us to review the overall journey of DISABI. We have received much meaningful input to refine our ideas. Our target is to deliver our best performance and be ready for PIMNAS 2026,” said Rizky, Leader of the UNM DISABI Team.

The Supervising Lecturer of the UNM DISABI Team, Johan Hendri Prasetyo, appreciated the students’ consistency in responding to feedback during the mentoring process. According to him, the main focus of the supervision lies in the sustainability of the developed innovation.

“DISABI is a long journey that requires consistency and teamwork. The next challenge is to maintain consistency, strengthen the results achieved, and ensure that every piece of input can be translated into concrete improvements,” he said in a release received on Tuesday (22/09/2026).

Similar support was expressed by the Head of the Digital Business Study Programme at UNM, Lia Mazia. The study programme is committed to continuing to facilitate the development of student potential in producing scientific works that are beneficial to society.

“We are proud to see students capable of bringing ideas that are not only innovative but also oriented towards solving societal problems. PKP2 is not the end of the journey, and we from the Digital Business Study Programme will continue to provide support,” she explained.

Successfully passing the PKP2 stage serves as an important foundation for the UNM DISABI Team to mature their technical preparations. Continuous refinement of the innovation is expected to bring this inclusive work to compete in the 2026 National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS).
