UNM's Digital Business Programme Aims to Enhance Academic Standards
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Digital Business Study Program at Nusa Mandiri University (UNM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the quality of academic governance as part of its pledge to be a Digital Business Campus.
One of the strategic steps taken is the implementation of institutional cooperation with the Association of Private Faculties of Economics and Business in Indonesia (AFEBSI) through active participation in a National Technical Guidance (Bimteknas) event with the theme “Management of Study Programs Based on Excellent Accreditation”.
The Bimteknas event took place from Thursday to Saturday, 5-7 February 2026, at the Diradja Hotel, Jl Kapten Tendean No. 38, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, and was attended by faculty leaders, heads of study programs, and quality assurance managers from various private universities in Indonesia.
This forum serves as a strategic platform to deepen the understanding of study program management in line with excellent accreditation standards, while also strengthening the role of the internal quality assurance system.
UNM was represented by the Head of the Digital Business Study Program, Lia Mazia, together with the Head of the UNM Quality Assurance Agency, Endang Pujiastuti. This reaffirms UNM’s commitment to integrating the strengthening of study program management with a sustainable and measurable quality system.
Through the Bimteknas, participants gained a better understanding of study program management strategies, improved the quality of accreditation documents, and optimised the role of academic leadership in building a culture of quality.
This aligns with the objectives of the cooperation between UNM and AFEBSI, which focuses on improving institutional capacity, developing academic networks, and strengthening quality standards for higher education.
According to Lia Mazia, participation in the Bimteknas is proof that the cooperation does not stop at the signing of an MoU.
“We ensure that the cooperation with AFEBSI is implemented in practice. Active involvement in the Bimteknas is a concrete step to strengthen the governance of the Digital Business Study Program so that it becomes more adaptive, competitive, and ready to achieve excellent accreditation,” she said in a statement received on Wednesday (25/2/2026).
Endang Pujiastuti added that the synergy between study program managers and the quality assurance unit is key to driving continuous improvement and readiness to face increasingly stringent accreditation competition.
“With the momentum of cooperation with AFEBSI, the UNM Digital Business Study Program is committed to continuously improving the quality of academic management, expanding strategic collaborations, and building a strong foundation towards sustainable excellent accreditation standards,” she concluded.
