UNM's 40th Graduation: LLDikti Reminds Graduates to Continuously Adapt in the Digital Era
Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) held its 40th graduation ceremony at Gedung Pewayangan Kautaman, TMII Complex, East Jakarta, on Thursday (23/4/2026). This milestone marks the readiness of graduates to enter the professional world as independent and innovative individuals.
The Head of LLDikti Region III Jakarta, Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, described the number 40 as evidence of an institution’s maturity. According to him, UNM has demonstrated consistency in maintaining educational quality amid dynamic changes in the times.
He gave special appreciation for UNM’s transformation, which now solidifies its identity as a digital business campus. This vision is deemed highly relevant to current global industry needs.
“The vision of becoming a leading, independent, and innovative institution in the field of digital business is the right answer to today’s challenges. Moreover, technology is now the heart of global economic growth,” said Henri in his speech.
Henri emphasised that challenges in the developing digital world are very rapid, even in short periods of time. UNM graduates are expected not only to rely on their degrees but also on their ability to find solutions.
Graduates are urged to continuously sharpen their independent mindset to create new opportunities amid tight competition. Higher education institutions are also encouraged to continue producing real impacts through research and innovation.
“We want every research, every application, and every graduate to have an impact on business efficiency, empowerment of SMEs, and strengthening digital literacy,” said Henri.
