UNM Trains PKK Cadres to Manage Website, Accelerating Digital Transformation in Cipinang Melayu Sub-District

Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), positioning itself as a Digital Business Campus, has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding digital transformation at the community level through a training and mentoring programme on the use of the PKK website for Cipinang Melayu Sub-District. The activity, part of the 2026 Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) Programme, was held on Saturday, 27 June 2026, at UNM’s Jatiwaringin Campus in East Jakarta, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. The training aimed to improve the digital competence of PKK cadres in managing the Cipinang Melayu Sub-District PKK website as a medium for organisational administration, activity documentation, information publication, and the delivery of various PKK programmes to the public more effectively, transparently, and in a well-documented manner. Through this digital platform, various administrative needs such as board membership data, activity agendas, news, documentation galleries, and activity reports can be managed centrally. The system is expected to support more modern, efficient, and accountable PKK organisational governance. The activity chairperson, Siti Nurlela, stated that digital transformation has become an essential need for community organisations so that information services can be delivered more quickly, accurately, and accessibly. ‘The website is not only a publication medium but also a more organised administrative support system for the organisation. Through this training, we aim to help PKK cadres utilise digital technology to enhance the effectiveness of organisational work while strengthening services to the community,’ she explained. Training materials were delivered by Siti Masturoh, who provided guidance ranging from managing website menus, filling in administrative data, publishing activity news, uploading documentation, to managing information accessible to the public. To ensure an interactive learning process, the session was moderated by Riki Supriadi. Participants not only received materials but also directly practised using the website with assistance from the implementation team. The activity was attended by the Chairperson of the PKK Driving Team of Cipinang Melayu Sub-District, Emilia Nurtanti, along with PKK cadres. Participants’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the training through active discussions, hands-on practice, and question-and-answer sessions regarding website management. Emilia welcomed the training and expressed hope that the developed website could be utilised sustainably. ‘This training provides very useful skills for PKK cadres. We hope this website becomes a more organised administrative tool as well as a medium for disseminating information about all PKK activities to the wider community,’ she said. Through this activity, UNM hopes that PKK cadres will be able to manage the website independently, resulting in more orderly organisational administration, well-preserved activity documentation, and information delivered to the public quickly, easily accessible, and more transparently. Siti emphasised that this programme is a tangible implementation of UNM’s community service in supporting the acceleration of digital transformation within the community through strengthening human resource capacity. ‘We appreciate all parties who have supported the implementation of this activity, especially the PKK Driving Team of Cipinang Melayu Sub-District and all PKK cadres who actively participated during the training,’ she said. Thanks were also extended to the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM), the Directorate General of Research and Development, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for funding support through the 2026 Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) Programme, enabling this activity to be carried out successfully and provide tangible benefits to the community.
