JAKARTA – Students of the Management Study Programme at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), a digital business campus, have once again demonstrated their achievements on the national stage.

This time, management student Keysha Meyuna took part in the Jakarta Culinary Exploration Content Competition – QRIS Jelajah Kuliner Indonesia 2026, organised by Bank Indonesia’s DKI Jakarta Provincial Office in collaboration with the Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026.

The competition serves as a platform for young people to develop their creativity in digital marketing, the creative economy and digital financial literacy, by producing content that promotes local cuisine whilst educating the public about the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a safe, practical and efficient digital payment method.

In this competition, Keysha presented creative content highlighting the richness of Jakarta’s culinary heritage, using a digital communication approach that is both engaging and informative.

According to Keysha, taking part in the competition provided many lessons, particularly in combining creativity with the use of digital technology.

“Through this competition I learnt how to convey messages to the public creatively whilst introducing local cuisine with the support of QRIS digital payment technology. This experience has broadened my understanding of the importance of digital innovation in the world of business and marketing,” she said.

The student’s participation in the event is an implementation of experience-based learning, where students not only study theory in the classroom but also apply their skills in digital content creation, marketing communication, branding, and the use of financial technology in the real world.

The Head of UNM’s Management Study Programme, Instianti Elyana, said competitions such as QRIS Jelajah Kuliner Indonesia provide learning opportunities relevant to the current needs of industry.

“We continue to encourage students to take part in various competitions because these experiences sharpen creativity, communication skills, and understanding of digital transformation in the business sector,” she said in a statement on Friday (24/7/2026).

The activity also gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their competence whilst contributing to supporting the digitalisation of the national economy.

She added that students in the Management Study Programme are equipped not only with business and management theory, but are also encouraged to develop adaptive capabilities in facing technological developments, including in the digital economy and financial technology.

As a digital business campus, she affirmed, UNM continues to deliver learning that aligns with the needs of the business and industrial world through an adaptive curriculum, project-based learning, collaboration with practitioners, and student participation in regional and national competitions.

“Through the QRIS Jelajah Kuliner Indonesia 2026 event, students are expected to be ever more prepared to become a creative young generation, adaptive to developments in financial technology, committed to the development of MSMEs and local cuisine, and capable of contributing to strengthening Indonesia’s digital economy ecosystem,” she said.

This participation also reaffirms UNM’s commitment to producing graduates who excel not only academically, but also possess the experience, portfolio and competencies relevant to the challenges of industry in the era of digital transformation.
