Students from Nusa Mandiri University (UNM) have presented the progress of their digital psychoeducational media innovation, titled MEMORion+, at the 202lam Progress Assessment (PKP2) for the Student Creativity Programme (PKM). This national evaluation forum was held online by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology on Wednesday (16/9/2026).

MEMORion+ is specifically designed as an interactive cognitive stimulation game for children aged 8 to 12 with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) characteristics. As a Digital Business Campus, UNM fully supports the development of this prototype, which is built using the Godot Engine and has reached 95 per cent completion in terms of physical and administrative work.

The innovation integrates three-dimensional motor exploration with two-dimensional narrative dialogue. The game is equipped with the Levenshtein Distance algorithm and Natural Language Processing to tolerate typing errors, low-sensory visuals, and 528 Hz Solfeggio frequency relaxation audio to help maintain a child’s focus.

The development team consists of Dini Fitriyah Herti and Guntur Surawijaya from the Data Science Study Programme, alongside Rivky Putra Setiawan and Rizki Rasdiwiyanto from the Informatics Study Programme. The game’s feasibility has also been tested by clinical psychology expert Adzillah Izmi Syahidah, M.Psi., Psychologist, with a material relevance rate of 99.75 per cent.

The leader of the MEMORion+ team, Dini Fitriyah Herti, expressed gratitude for the smooth presentation before the board of examiners and the positive appreciation received by the team.

“We designed MEMORion+ to minimise performance anxiety and cognitive frustration in children with ADHD while playing. Reaching 95 per cent progress provides a huge boost for us to continue perfecting this game until it is ready for widespread use,” said Dini, in a release received on Thursday (17/9).

The supervising lecturer, Taopik Hidayat, also praised the cross-study collaboration of his students, which successfully combined technical aspects with solid clinical validity.

“The development of MEMORion+ is not only technically and cognitively superior but has also been clinically tested by psychology experts. We will continue to mentor the team to complete the remaining targets and publish outputs towards the PIMNAS 2026 stage,” he said.

The team’s achievement is further bolstered by successful social media publications that have reached tens of thousands of impressions. Through this inclusive technological innovation, UNM students have demonstrated their commitment to providing digital solutions that have a real impact on society.
