UNM Students Develop Zavora Life, a Smart and Integrated AI Healthcare Service
Nusa Mandiri University (UNM), a Digital Business Campus, showcased its students’ innovative prowess on the international stage at the BRICS Industrial Innovation Contest 2026 Indonesia Overseas Qualification, held at the Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta on Thursday, 7 May 2026. The competition is part of the BRICS nations’ strategic collaboration to drive technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based industrial transformation.
At the prestigious event, UNM Master of Informatics students Adhitya Januarizky Hadi Putra, along with team members Daffa Reivan Fathur Rahman and Febrialdo Haudi, introduced Zavora Life, an AI-powered digital healthcare innovation under the ‘All-in-One Health, Better Living’ concept.
Zavora Life is an evolution of the previous digital health platform, Sehat Rasa, now featuring a more modern, intelligent, and integrated healthcare service system.
The platform leverages cutting-edge technologies such as an AI Symptom Checker, AI Health Analytics, Digital Consultation System, Smart Recommendation System, and Personalised Healthcare to provide faster, more effective, and accessible healthcare services for the public.
Key features include online doctor consultations and bookings, the ZavoBot AI Medical Assistant, daily health journals, BMI and calorie calculators, digital health articles, educational health videos, and a healthcare marketplace—all within a unified digital ecosystem.
Technologically, Zavora Life was developed using the Laravel Framework, PostgreSQL Database, Bootstrap 5, and AI integration to deliver a modern, secure, and user-responsive system.
Adhitya Januarizky Hadi Putra stated that the innovation stems from a commitment to delivering digital health solutions that support sustainable healthy lifestyles for the public.
‘We believe the future of healthcare will move towards smarter, personalised, and integrated AI-based systems. Through Zavora Life, we aim to create a digital health platform that not only assists medical consultations but also raises public awareness about the importance of healthy living,’ he said.
UNM students’ participation in this international competition also demonstrates the support of the Nusa Mandiri Innovation Center (NIC) in fostering an innovation culture and digital technology development within the campus.
NIC Head Fitra Septia Nugraha said UNM continues to encourage students to create technology-based innovations relevant to global industry needs.
‘UNM does not just push students to be technology users but creators of digital solutions that deliver tangible societal impact. Through NIC, we are strengthening an AI-driven innovation ecosystem, digital startups, and smart technology to enable students to compete internationally,’ he added.
He added that innovations like Zavora Life have significant potential to evolve into practical digital solutions in modern healthcare.
‘We hope Zavora Life does not remain a competition project but grows into a widely used digital healthcare platform. This demonstrates Indonesian students’ ability to deliver world-class innovations,’ he said.
Nusa Mandiri University’s NIC consistently offers innovation-enhancement programs, AI development, digital startup mentoring, and youth talent development to adapt to the global digital industry.
UNM students’ participation in the 2026 BRICS Industrial Innovation Contest further cements the university’s position as a Digital Business Campus actively nurturing innovative young talent in Artificial Intelligence, Smart Systems, and Digital Healthcare.
