JAKARTA – Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), as a Digital Business Campus, has once again achieved a milestone through the success of its lecturers and students in the 2026 Research and Development Funding Programme under the Community Service (PkM) scheme.

The team, led by Siti Nurlela along with members Siti Masturoh and Riki Supriyadi, supported by students Maria Olivia and Naysha Syifa Ardana, has successfully secured funding with a programme titled “Implementation of a Website-Based PKK Information System for Cipinang Melayu Ward to Manage Administration and Empower UP2K.”

This programme will be implemented in the PKK of Cipinang Melayu Ward, East Jakarta, which has been active in community empowerment through Family Income Enhancement Business (UP2K) activities.

Based on the team’s observations, administrative management is still conducted manually and is not integrated, while the marketing of UP2K products remains limited to conventional methods.

To address these challenges, the team is introducing a solution in the form of an integrated website-based information system. This system not only supports the digital administration of PKK but also provides an online showcase feature to expand the marketing of UP2K products.

In addition to technology development, the programme includes training and mentoring for PKK administrators and business actors, covering system usage, data management, and digital marketing strategies.

The team leader, Siti Nurlela, emphasised that the programme is designed not only as a technological solution but also as an effort in digital-based community empowerment. She designed it to address real needs on the ground.

“Not only providing the system, but also ensuring that the community is capable of managing and utilising it independently. The hope is that this digitalisation can improve administrative efficiency while expanding economic opportunities for UP2K actors,” she stated in a comment quoted on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

She added that the sustainability of the programme is the team’s main focus. “We will conduct gradual mentoring as well as periodic monitoring to ensure the system implementation runs optimally and delivers long-term impact,” she further said.

The system implementation will be carried out in stages, involving PKK administrators as the main managers. Monitoring and evaluation will also be conducted periodically to ensure the programme runs according to targets.

“This achievement is proof of UNM’s commitment to fulfilling the tri dharma of higher education, particularly technology-based community service. This programme is expected to serve as a model for digitalisation that can be replicated in various other regions in Indonesia,” she concluded.
