UNM Partners with Mandiri Taspen to Prepare Job-Ready Graduates through IEP 3+1
Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), as a Digital Business Campus through the Nusa Mandiri Career Center (NCC), received a visit from PT Mandiri Taspen on Monday (6/4/2026) at the UNM Jatiwaringin campus. The visit was aimed at exploring strategic cooperation in the field of student internship programmes. This step is part of efforts to strengthen synergy between the world of education and industry to produce graduates who are job-ready and highly competitive.
During the meeting, Mandiri Taspen expressed its commitment to opening internship opportunities for Universitas Nusa Mandiri students through the flagship Internship Experience Program (IEP) 3+1 scheme, namely three years of study on campus and one year of direct internship experience in the industry.
Head of NCC, Muhammad Faisal, emphasised that the programme is an effective strategy in improving graduates’ readiness to face the professional world.
“The IEP 3+1 programme is the best solution for students so that they not only excel academically but also have real work experience in the industry,” he stated in a press release received on Saturday (25/4/2026).
Meanwhile, Andien, as a representative of PT Mandiri Taspen, explained the implementation mechanism as well as various available internship opportunities at the company. She stated that students will be given the opportunity to engage in various fields of work to develop competencies, skills, and direct understanding of the professional world.
This collaboration is expected to be the beginning of ongoing cooperation between NCC and PT Mandiri Taspen in supporting student career development through relevant and applicable industry experience.
