UNM Invites Students to Explore Global Innovation Through Edutrip 2026

JAKARTA — Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) will once again hold an international programme, the Edutrip Programme Batch 3 Singapore-Malaysia 2026. The cross-border learning agenda is scheduled to take place from 2 to 5 November 2026.

Participants will be invited to explore the innovation, technology, education and business ecosystems first-hand in the two neighbouring countries.

UNM Deputy Rector for Non-Academic Affairs Arif Hidayat said the initiative was designed to give members of the academic community and other participants direct experience of an international environment. He said it was a practical step by the university to strengthen participants’ global competencies.

“We want students and participants not merely to watch developments in the world, but to understand and learn directly from an international environment. The Singapore-Malaysia Edutrip is a means of broadening horizons, strengthening global competencies and building networks that will be highly beneficial to their futures,” Arif said in a written statement on Tuesday (27 October).

He added that global awareness and an understanding of international workplace cultures had become important assets in facing competition in industry. Participants were therefore encouraged to broaden their practical perspectives beyond the formal classroom.

“Young people must have the courage to step outside their comfort zones. Through this programme, participants can see how innovation, technology and workplace culture develop at the global level. This experience will be an important foundation for improving their competitiveness and turning dreams into achievements,” he added.

Through the programme, UNM, known as the Digital Business Campus, hopes participants will return with new insights and international connections that will have a tangible impact on their future career development.
