This achievement further solidifies UNM’s position as a Digital Business Campus actively promoting AI-based innovation. At the competition, the UNM team presented the innovative “EverGreen” project – a Multi-Agent AI System for Real-Time Environmental and Social Impact Monitoring.

The system is developed as an AI-based digital solution capable of monitoring environmental conditions and social impacts in real-time using a multi-agent approach.

The technology is designed to facilitate faster, adaptive, and data-driven decision-making processes in tackling environmental and social challenges during the digital transformation era. The finalists from UNM’s Informatics Undergraduate Program are:

  1. Casey Shalom Elohim Aplugi

  2. Alfa Henokh Sander

  3. Muhammad Raihan Asyauqi

Arfhan Prasetyo, Head of the Informatics Undergraduate Program at UNM, expressed his appreciation for the students’ success in competing in this national AI-based technology competition.

The EverGreen team’s success demonstrates that UNM’s Informatics students can produce technology innovations relevant to societal needs and the current digital industry landscape.

“We continue to encourage students not only to learn theory but also to boldly create real-world AI solutions with positive impact,” he said in a press release issued on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

He added that a culture of research, innovation, and collaboration is integral to the learning process at UNM’s Faculty of Information Technology.

As a Digital Business Campus, UNM is committed to producing graduates adaptable to global technological advancements. This achievement showcases students’ ability to compete, collaborate, and contribute to future technology development.

He emphasised that the EverGreen team’s success also proves UNM students excel not just academically but also in applying knowledge through practical and innovative digital solutions.

Participation in this national AI competition further strengthens the culture of innovation, research, and technology development within UNM’s academic environment.

“All members of UNM’s academic community, particularly the Faculty of Information Technology, extend their full appreciation and support to the finalists as they prepare for the Technofest 2026 Agentic AI Competition finals,” he stated.
