A team of students from the Digital Business Study Programme at Nusa Mandiri University (UNM) has successfully passed the selection process for the Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship Expo (KMI) Expo XVII 2026. This achievement was attained through a creative business innovation titled “ARTHOLIC STUDIO,” competing in the Creative Industry, Art, and Culture category.

UNM is one of 395 universities that have successfully advanced to this national event. As a Digital Business Campus, UNM continues to encourage its students to implement business and technological competencies into tangible works that possess economic value.

ARTHOLICAL STUDIO offers customisable wall decorations made from medium-density fibreboard (MDF). The product combines creativity with design technology to meet the lifestyle trends of modern society, which increasingly demands personalised and unique interior decorations.

The team consists of five Digital Business students: Syafa Nabila Puteri Syam as the leader, alongside members Haibatus Shonya, Kencana Eka Nayla, Mela Octaviani, and Muhammad Syah Reza. Throughout the process, they were mentored by lecturer Johan Hendri Prasetyo.

The team’s supervisor, Johan Hendri Prasetyo, stated that this participation provides invaluable experience for students in building a business professionally.

“The most important thing is not just passing the selection, but how students gain real-world experience in building and developing a business. ARTHOLIC STUDIO serves as a space for students to hone their creativity, business skills, teamwork, and the courage to bring their products to a wider level,” said Johan.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Digital Business Study Programme at UNM, Lia Mazia, expressed her appreciation for the students’ achievement in bringing local innovation to a national stage.

“The success of the ARTHOLIC STUDIO team proves that UNM Digital Business students possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset and digital expertise. We are very proud and will continue to support our students so they are able to create business innovations that are competitive within the creative industry,” she said in a release received on Wednesday (16/09/2026).

This achievement serves as an initial step for students to gain greater confidence in seizing opportunities during the era of digital transformation. Participation in the KMI Expo XVII 2026 is expected to foster young entrepreneurs who are ready to strengthen Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem.
