Two students from the Data Science Study Programme, Faculty of Information Technology, Nusa Mandiri University (UNM), Andita Alizhari and Rafif Sudanta, have participated in an intensive briefing ahead of the final round of BRINATHON IRIFair 202<0xC2>6 in Jakarta. This briefing serves as a final preparation step for the national research and innovation competition.

In this competition, Andita and Rafif are presenting research titled “Digital Reconstruction of 51 Years of TRIGA 2000 Bandung Reactor Operational History: Automating the Monte Carlo Pipeline for Nickel-63 Characterisation as a Limiting Nuclide for Decommissioning Clearance”. This concept integrates computational science modelling with technological challenges in the nuclear sector.

In developing their work, the UNM student team is collaborating with the Principal Expert Nuclear Technology Developer at BRIN, Ir. R. Sumarbagiono, MT, and academic Zico Pratama Putra, ST, MSc, Ph.D. This mentorship focuses on strengthening research substance, refining presentation techniques, and solidifying computational data simulations.

The Head of the UNM Data Science Programme, Tati Mardiana, expressed her full appreciation and support for both students as they compete in the final round. She hopes that this cross-disciplinary collaboration will achieve maximum performance.

“We provide full support to Andita and Rafif as they face the BRINATHON 2026 final round. Utilise this briefing opportunity to further mature your ideas, prepare your presentations, and increase your confidence. We hope they can perform optimally and bring the best results for Nusa Mandiri University,” she stated in a release received on Monday (14/09/2026).

Reaching this final stage reinforces the role of Nusa Mandiri University as a Digital Business Campus in producing innovative research talent. The experience gained at the BRINATHON IRIFair 2026 is expected to expand the students’ data modelling insights to support future technological and industrial development.
