UNM and PT Kreasi Alam Inspirasi Join Forces to Develop AI Education
Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), through its Nusa Mandiri Excellent Center of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (NEX.AI), has entered into a strategic partnership with PT Kreasi Alam Inspirasi. The partnership was formalised through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and a cooperation agreement at UNM’s Jatiwaringin campus in East Jakarta on Tuesday (13 October).
UNM, known as the Digital Business Campus, is continuing to strengthen its applied technology-based education ecosystem. The collaboration is intended to bridge academia and the needs of the digital industry, particularly in the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
The signing ceremony was attended by NEX.AI head Dr Ali Khumaidi and PT Kreasi Alam Inspirasi representative Dedi Suhendi. The partnership will cover AI training, data-driven marketing research, student internship programmes and digital empowerment for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
“The cooperation was established to bridge the industry’s need for talent with a practice-based curriculum. We are committed to ensuring that this collaboration produces concrete AI-based education programmes with a direct impact on lecturers, students and MSMEs,” he said in a statement received on Thursday (22 October).
After the signing ceremony, the event continued with a workshop entitled “From Insight to Impact: AI-Powered Business Analysis for Smarter Marketing”. Students, lecturers and local business owners took part in the training as the first implementation of the partnership.
“The partnership is expected not only to improve the quality of work-ready graduates, but also to encourage the sustainable digitalisation of local businesses. This practical step is part of UNM’s efforts to develop adaptable, competitive human resources in the era of digital transformation,” he said.
