Nusa Mandiri Excellent Center of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (NEX.AI) at Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), in collaboration with PT Kreasi Alam Inspirasi (KAI), held a training session on artificial intelligence (AI)-based business analysis on Tuesday (13 October 2026). The capacity-building activity aims to strengthen digital literacy in the community.

The training, titled “From Insight to Impact: AI-Powered Business Analysis for Smarter Marketing”, took place in the Workshop Room at UNM’s Jatiwaringin Campus, Jalan Raya Jatiwaringin No. 2, East Jakarta. Participants enthusiastically took part in the programme from beginning to end.

The interactive training was designed to equip participants with practical skills in processing business data and understanding patterns in consumer behaviour. Using AI, they were taught to develop precise, data-driven digital marketing strategies.

The event was attended by lecturers, students from UNM and other campuses, members of the public and micro, small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) operators. NEX.AI head and event chair Dr Ali Khumaidi stressed the importance of data processing amid rapid digital transformation.

“The key to business success today lies not only in promotional creativity, but also in the ability to turn data into strategic insights that can be tested and acted upon,” Dr Ali said in a press release received on Monday (19 October 2026).

Led by keynote speaker Ridzky Ramadhan, a member of PT KAI’s expert team, the training took a practical approach using a case study of the “NUSA BREW” coffee shop, with a simulation involving 7,000 transaction records. The simulation gave participants hands-on experience in market analysis.

Participants practised using a Prompt Framework to analyse sales trends and identify customer segments without needing advanced programming skills. The learning method made AI technology more accessible to beginners.

As an outcome of the event, Dr Ali said each participant was equipped to draft an initial Data-Driven Promotion Plan, including partnership strategy programmes called NUSA BREAK and NUSA REPEAT. These skills, he said, would be valuable for future business development.

“The skills are expected to be applied directly to improve operational efficiency and business competitiveness. The training also reinforces UNM’s role as a Digital Business Campus in promoting digital literacy and preparing the workforce in AI. Through a combination of AI research and practical applications, UNM is committed to developing innovative digital talent to support national economic growth,” Dr Ali said.
