Unlicensed Bogor Café Disturbing Residents Until Late at Night Closed Down

A joint team of police, military and Satpol PP officers raided a café suspected of selling alcoholic beverages and operating karaoke services without a licence on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar, Tanah Sareal, Bogor City. As a result, 71 bottles of alcohol were seized and the café was temporarily closed.

“We seized 71 bottles of various brands of alcohol and summoned the management to the police station for further questioning,” said Tanah Sareal Police Chief AKP Sonson Sudarsono on Sunday (16/8/2026).

“The café is temporarily closed until its operational legality is completed,” he added.

Sonson said the raid was carried out as a follow-up to public complaints from residents who felt disturbed by the café’s activities operating until late at night. A number of residents and youth leaders had also visited the café, which was suspected of operating without a permit.

“Initially, there was a problem with a café and restaurant called D’Qween that sold alcoholic beverages and operated until late at night, disturbing the surrounding community. Local residents came, starting from the village head, RW, RT, LPM chairman and youth leaders, to visit the café,” said Sonson.

Police who conducted the inspection found an alcohol storage warehouse and karaoke rooms suspected of not yet having operational permits. At the café, police also found a number of women suspected of being song guides.

“During the inspection, there were several alcoholic beverages of various brands and several female song guides,” said Sonson.

Sonson said the dozens of bottles of alcohol found at the location were seized as evidence. Meanwhile, the café’s activities were temporarily closed until its operational permit is completed.

“The 71 bottles of alcohol were seized at Tanah Sareal Police Station and we are coordinating with the Narcotics Unit of Bogor City Police, and the situation is safe and conducive,” said Sonson.
