University Student Found Dead on Vacant Land in Ciseeng, Bogor; Police Investigate

A university student with the initials DCS (20) was found dead on vacant land at a housing development project area in Ciseeng, Bogor Regency. Police are currently investigating.

Parung Police Chief Commissioner Maman Firmansyah stated the victim, identified as DCSA (20), was a student residing in Ciseeng Village, Ciseeng District. The victim was discovered face-down on the vacant land on Monday afternoon (22/6), still wearing full clothing and shoes.

“The victim was found in a face-down position on a tree stump, fully clothed. The location is within a housing area still under construction and relatively quiet,” Maman said.

“We are still conducting an in-depth examination of all facts, from the crime scene, witness statements, and existing evidence, to fully understand the sequence of events,” he added.

Maman said the investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, the victim’s family has refused an autopsy on the body.

“Officers did not find any visible signs of injury on the victim’s body based on visual observation. None of the victim’s belongings were missing,” Maman said.
